Bojan Vukelić

Bojan Vukelić studied jazz and classical saxophone in Graz in the class of eminent professors Karlheinz Miklina, Heinrich Von Kalneina and Hannesa Kawrze.

In the year 2005 he continued his studies in Keln in the class of Claudiusa Valka, and completed his master studies in 2006.

For the Deutche Welle international broadcaster he recorded CD, together with Banda Balcanica ensemble (music inspired by Tchaikovsky).

With his own quartet he performed at festivals in Serbia, Croatia, Austria and Germany, and as one of the soloists of HGM Jazz Oechestra Zagreb he played at IAJE festival in New York.

Together with Eleni Papaspirou, eminent pianist from Greece, he performed in Serbia, Austria and Greece.

After that tour he recorded CD with the Balkan Connection Band. Bojan Vukelic took part in the projects organized by Terazije Theatar and RTS Big Band.

At the moment, he teaches saxophone at the Music School Kosta Manojlovic.

 are just some words that describe the saxophonist Marko Dzomba.

Marko Dzomba is an internationally active soloist and chamber musician. He has performed in England, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Serbia, Norway, Romania, the Czech Republic and in concert halls such as the Konzerthaus Vienna, Musikverein Wien, Brucknerhaus Linz, MuTh Wien, Ljubljana Philharmonic, RNCM Manchester and others. Some of Marko’s upcoming concerts will also include appearences as a soloist with the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra in the Great Tchaikovsky Hall, with the Webern Chamber Philharmonic in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, with the Vienna Jeunesse Ochester in the Great Hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus, Kolarac Hall Belgrade, concerts in the Glass Hall of the Vienna Musikverein etc.

Marko also collaborated with orchestras such as Wiener Volksoperorchester, Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, Bühnenorchester der Wiener Staatsoper...

Marko is the winner of international and national competitions such as the Casinos Austria Rising Star Award, the ADMC Illzach in France, the CRDM in Italy, the Svirel Prize in Slovenia (where he also received two special prizes), the Windisch Chamber Music Competition, Musica Juventutis ... He was also the winner of the the Tokyo Foundation audition and a scholarship winner of the Thyl-Dürr Foundation and the Josef Windisch Foundation.

In 2018 Marko was one of the few finalist candidates for the position of a Saxophone Lecturer at the University for Music and performing Arts Vienna, Austria and at the Royal Academy of Music in Denmark.

Marko Dzomba has appeared on radio and television stations such as ORF, Radio Ö1, Radio Klassik Stephansdom, RTVSLO and Klassikradio Germany.

Marko Dzomba is a Yamaha performing Artist and plays on a golden, 24K Yamaha Custom EX Alto Saxophone.
